I thought of a nice project to help the hospital in Arad, but I found some difficulties in implementing it : I need to be part of an organization, and get an approval from the city hall. Other than that, here it is: send me suggestions, opinions, and you are more than welcome to help!

Be the change the world needs

Purpose:

Raising money to help buy equipment for the Intensive Care Unit at the City Hospital in Arad.
After talking to dr. Teodora Olariu, we saw that the critical patients need the monitoring and life support devices:
-          Breathing machines
-          Defibrillators
-          Monitoring device
-          Automatic syringes
-          Emergency tests kit

Donation date: 23rd of December

Where the action is happening:
In front of the city hall (if not, Hotel Parc)

When:
Mon – Thu : 18:00 – 20:00
Sat – Sun : 17:00 – 20:00

Details:
At the designated place, we will have a photo shooting corner , Christmas themed, where people can come, and have their picture taken( 5 lei/picture) We take their name, number of pictures, and the donated amount of money, and save the info. They can go, and pick up their pictures the next day (or later) at the computer store: Comp-ar.
The money will be taken to the hospital on the 23rd, when we will also take Santa with us, and a small choir to sing some Christmas songs.
Make it known:
Put posters up, and hand out flyers to let people know about it. facebook page and event (once it's ready), and share on facebook :)

    I think it's a great idea! Do you know anyone in the area in some community group that can "sponsor" it or you can use their name just to get the approval? :)

    There would be the Red Cross, my boss is trying to get in touch with them (he knows someone there). i wanted to use the name of the church, but I haven't gotten approval... and after I use their name, I still need papers from the city hall... and I don't know anyone there either :)) My boss is the one with connections... me, with a crazy idea :)) I hope that we can get it going by the end of this upcoming week....

It was the morning of the 6th of December, in our room at the gorgeous Copthorne Hotel Gatwick  .      My husband and I have been married for 18 months now. We are very happy together, we love and cherish each other, and our path is sunny, in spite of the rainy English weather. One of the things we both want greatly is to have children. I said 3, he said 5, in the end we might end up with 4 :)      This year was a rocky year. We went through the joy of being pregnant to the pain of losing the pregnancy twice already. The first one was at six weeks. I told myself that there was no heartbeat yet, so it wasn't meant to be. I wasn't depressed, I was a bit angry with the medical staff - it's a different story, about waiting 10 hours on a chair in a hallway while bleeding and aching - but I got over it quickly. I haven't written here in a very long time. I didn't know what to write... or how to put my feelings, my life into words. It sounds funny since I love to talk and I am almost never out of words. You might remember the post about Flowers and Fingernail Polish... well, the good friend , the guy who drew those ended up to be my boyfriend. His name is Peter. He is from Szeged, Hungary, but lives in Preston, England. We met at the YSA Conference held in Dobogoko Hungary. We liked each other so we decided to keep in touch. Well, things evolved very fast, and I will just put down main ideas: 1.
