Stressful days before my B-day

Who gets stressed before their birthday? Come on, it's no stress! All you do is plan a party, think of the cake you want to bake, what clothes to wear, and the list goes on. But mostly, it's all about PARTY!!!
Well, I had no share of that kind of stress. My stress was induced by my laptop...ok, it's not its fault, it is mine, it was my weird curiosity.
The evening before I went back home, I was getting a bit bored. What did I decide to do? Install Linux on my computer. The process was long, but I did it! I booted my system again, and nothing... just a black screen with a message: partition not found!
I could still boot off of the flash drive, but it wasn't running off the computer. and I had never used Linux. Of course I freaked out! What if I had lost everything? I had most of it backed up on my iPod, but not my last two weeks worth of work. I stayed up late, looking up solutions online. Nothing worked! I tried to get used to the idea of having to use only Linux... since I have no CD/DVD drive on my notebook, creating a flash drive to reinstall Windows was a pain.
I went home, tried to discuss it with my dad. He rolled his eyes, and asked me why I wanted Linux... I want to learn it, that's why! So on my birthday, once i finished cooking, I opened my Notebook, and reinstalled Ubuntu. I went through the exact same steps as before. I took out my flash drive, and booted the system. MIRACLE!!! I could choose between windows and ubuntu, no problem at all. It was such a sweet birthday present :D
Now I can switch between the two of them whenever I feel like it. It feels great :D

It was the morning of the 6th of December, in our room at the gorgeous Copthorne Hotel Gatwick  . (we were staying there with his mum, sister, and 3 friends of theirs) The plan for that morning was breakfast at 9 o'clock with everyone, then Peter, Monika, Angelina and me would go visit London, which was 36 miles away. Not sure what the title should be...

     My husband and I have been married for 18 months now. We are very happy together, we love and cherish each other, and our path is sunny, in spite of the rainy English weather. One of the things we both want greatly is to have children. I said 3, he said 5, in the end we might end up with 4 :)      This year was a rocky year. We went through the joy of being pregnant to the pain of losing the pregnancy twice already. The first one was at six weeks. I told myself that there was no heartbeat yet, so it wasn't meant to be. I wasn't depressed, I was a bit angry with the medical staff - it's a different story, about waiting 10 hours on a chair in a hallway while bleeding and aching - but I got over it quickly. I went straight back to work, and spent time serving in my Church calling. I think it was a bit harder for Peter, but we took comfort that we could try again. And we tried again! I haven't written here in a very long time. I didn't know what to write... or how to put my feelings, my life into words. It sounds funny since I love to talk and I am almost never out of words. You might remember the post about Flowers and Fingernail Polish... well, the good friend , the guy who drew those ended up to be my boyfriend. His name is Peter. He is from Szeged, Hungary, but lives in Preston, England. We met at the YSA Conference held in Dobogoko Hungary. We liked each other so we decided to keep in touch. Well, things evolved very fast, and I will just put down main ideas: 1.
